Cursed items and shadow governments are never a good combination. Make the cursed object a severed hand that drives people mad found during a drug deal collection and you have yourself a recipe for fun times for all. The hand then enters the mob, which is not a place for a cursed object, there is enough madness there already! Enter your mild-mannered, low-level mob employee (he probably doesn’t have a W2 though). All he wants to do is take care of his ailing mother after the loss of her husband. What will happen next? Mass murders, face eating, zombie apocalypse, or angel intervention? Who knows!
