Sometimes we get a book that doesn't meet our standards for a new and beautiful book to add to our Misleading Blind Date with a Book Collection. Does this mean it doesn't deserve its happy ending? Or that it isn't just as wonderful of a read as its pristine friends making the shelf? What a tale of woe we have heard from these books, these tell-tale hearts, that we have received!
Introducing....A COMPLETE MYSTERY!! These are damaged and used books wrapped in the same loving way as our other Blind Dates, but with even less information than before. It comes with all the great items as before (Bookmark, Annotation Tabs, Hot Drink Mix, and stickers) but without a description. All you know...heck...ALL WE KNOW...is NOTHING! You throw the choice to the wheels of fortune. We pick the book and you are none the wiser until it arrives at your doorstep.
Some of these books are barely damaged at all, one might have been missing its cover (we were just as confused as you), others have just been read before and could almost pass off as new if it wasn't for a cracked spine. A few we never even ordered/or misordered so they fall outside our norm.
