The US Government’s Weapon X program created such lovable mutants as Wolverine and Deadpool. Imagine now, that instead of the US Government creating mutants in the Marvel universe, its two random dudes in college that figure out how to get superpowers. Fast forward 10 years and it turns out that people are individuals and make their own choices. Now, instead of a Bill and Ted bromance comedy, we end up with a gritty Peter Parker and Harry Osborn, Master Ooogway and Kai, Tod and Copper, or Optimus Prime and Megatron friends to enemy tale as old as time. Now one is out for revenge.
