Following the War to End All Wars (despite there being a number of wars since) an entire generation was left feeling disillusionment and angst. The feelings of hope at the turn of the century were dashed as the horrors of the war descended upon the world. Enter the wandering souls of young expatriates living in Paris. They are cynical, nihilistic, and hedonistic, living their lives to give some sort of meaning. Maybe traveling to Pamplona to commune with the animals might help change their perspective on the world and inject a bit of adrenaline and spice back into their lives.
