We all know that if you are going to eradicate a noble family, you have got to get them all, kids included. Really you just shouldn’t try because one will escape, go into hiding in a small village, and plot their revenge against you. Similarly, if there is a girl with a prophesy foretelling your downfall, just leave her alone or give her a bunch of money, because whatever you do to stop her will be just the thing to kick things off against you. You’d figure a couple of preteens who haven’t hit puberty yet would be easy to dispatch but you would have thought wrong.
